#Secret Code#

everyone has her/his own secret code...what is ur secret code?for me...secret code would be languages.This secret code(language) has been a bridge to the ppl who know the same secret code, and a barrier to those who doesnt know the same secret code.Im not sure how many languages they are in this world,i personaly know few languages..Mandarin(inclusive of some chinese dialects),English, Malay. I have encountered few ppl from other secret code,middle eastern,persian and so on..If we do not know their secret code..we can hardly understand the culture, the thinking, the mindset as well.So, i took up the challenge to learn the * secret code*...arabic at 1st...and now...persian..

having a good labmate who is a persian is wonderful. Cultural exchange,food exchange...(Lol~~)
now..i know some persian word...such as...
salam- hello
khoby? - how are u?
kojai? - where?
hatman?- sure?
merci - thank you

arabic n persian are a challenge for me as to pronounce 'KH" especially...huh~...it's not easy for me as we dun have 'kh' in my mother tounge...

in the Bible, in the book of Genesis, God confused the ppl with different languages..when they were building Tower of Babel.the next day when they wake up, finding everyone of them were speaking the different *secret code*...then, they separated among themselves...and disperse to other places..

If we do not come to the common *secret code*..it means..there's no unity...

Likewise, for computer experts, secret code can be...hexadecimal,java script,machine language,assembly language and so on...if u cant understand those codes...u will never understand wat's happening..

Middle Eastern Food

I was so priviledge to eat middle eastern food just now...it was a treat from stanford's student...who is a Yemeni...hmm...by the way..do u know what Yemeni is?haha...Yemeni is a nationality of Yemen....Yemen is a middle eastern country at the gulf area...

the food was very good...we were served a small bowl of hot mutton chicken soup...it was great..fragrance of the herbs from Yemen..

next..salad...or fatoush in arabic...basically...veges.....they have different types of salad..arabic salad...yemeni salad.....hmmm...i dunno much...then here comes a chicken with yellowish + orangish colour..it was special...very much different from what i have tried from mamak stall...

then there is 'salta'...a bowl of cooked mixture of egg,rice,meat,..vege...anything that u can name...is in the small bowl..it's like our chinese claypot..served with Yemeni bread..called khubz in arabic..there's another type of bread..a very thin one,lebanon bread...both were nice....

here comes the mutton with vege...i dun like mutton much...but i ate quite a lot just now...it was tender...simply delicious...served with bread as well...huh...it was a heavy 'DinnER' at 10 pm...

it was an interesting experience to get to know new friends..especially foreigners...cultural exchange...n so on..oh ya.. we managed to visit the kitchen as well..a big home made OVEN..cool~.they are friendly..u guys shd try it out...the name of the restaurant is Saba Restaurant..will attach the photos here once i get it from them...LoL~
